SADER Group is currently looking for a Digital Transformation and Data Custodian Coordinator whose primary responsibilities will be the establishment and operating of a new unit or department focused on streamlining all the SADER Group products data content and its production, collection of application and data information required by the needed updates and the different Build Services, and management of Web database migrations from existing platforms to new infrastructure.

Level: Mid-management

Employment Type: Permanent subject to a 6-month probationary period

Primary Duties and Responsibilities for the Digital Transformation Coordinator:

  • Leads the day-to-day management and monitoring of IT service providers.
  • Manage and monitor digital transformation in coordination with management of IT and administration.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to help provide IT solutions.
  • Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle and change management processes for delivered solutions.
  • Stakeholder coordination and reporting at multiple levels of the organization including senior management.
  • Works closely and is part of the administration planning team.
  • Assist in the assessment of the digital needs and solutions for the enterprise and coordinate with the internal business owners and external consultant(s)/provider(s).

Primary Duties for the Data Custodian role:

A custodian manages the technical environment where data resides.  Custodians ensure safe custody, transport, and storage of data.

  • Implements the user access policies specified by data trustees.
  • Sets the data integrity policies and Ensures that data quality is sustained during technical processing (such as data entry or Extract-Transport-Load operations).
  • Ensures that the recipient of a data extract receives a copy of the business metadata that corresponds to the extracted data.
  • Resolves data quality issues in partnership with data Stewards and business leads.
  • Follows change management practices during maintenance of data within a data collection.
  • Ensures that changes to data content and controls can be audited.

Advises trustees on technology solutions that support the type of access the trustee wants to provide.

Qualifications:  A degree in Computer Science with a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position is a must.  Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English are required.  Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
